Metro Arts is developing the future of Australian contemporary arts practice, now. 

Metro Arts’ home at West Village presents an annual program of contemporary and experimental performing and visual arts. This new hub for West End’s diverse community is the place in Brisbane to experience the work of contemporary artists ranging from the emerging to the mid-career and the established.

GETTING HERE

Metro Arts is located within West Village at 97 Boundary Street, West End 4101.

The easiest way to access Metro Arts is to enter West Village from Boundary Street, wander through the garden area, and make your way down Factory Lane.


Transport

There are bus stops all around West End, with the closest servicing the 199, 198, 196, 192 and 60 bus routes. We are also located within a short fifteen minute walk from the South Brisbane train station and Cultural Centre busway. Visit the Translink website to plan your best route.

PARKING

West Village has 450 secure on-site parking bays (free for 2 hours) accessible via Mollison Street. For further pricing details see here. Alternatively, there is limited on street parking available but please note parking meters may apply.
