About
Over five decades, Jonathan Hyde has built an extraordinary career across the world’s most storied stages and screens, from the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre to major film and television productions with James Cameron, Guillermo del Toro, John Boorman and, most recently, Brady Corbet on the Oscar-winning The Brutalist. Now, Hyde returns home for a one-night-only In Conversation & Masterclass at Metro Arts, offering Queensland actors, writers, directors, students and film lovers a rare chance to learn from one of Brisbane’s living treasures, and to explore how craft, language and discipline underpin powerful storytelling across stage and screen.
