Dance Nation by Clare Barron tells the story of a group of young dancers striving for success in a national competition, confronting themes of identity and ambition as the lines between friend and rival are blurred.
Audiences can expect a sharp-witted production that combines the energy of TV series such as HBO’s Euphoria and Sex Education with Dance Moms, bringing drama and laughter together as an all-star cast take you on the messy journey of growing up.
Directed by Matilda Award-winner Timothy Wynn (Every Brilliant Thing, Les Liaisons Dangereuses) the production features a talented ensemble cast of local actors, including Jeanda St James (White Pearl, Audrey), Carla Haynes (Love Lies Bleeding, Macbeth), Thea Raveneau (Eat Slay Zombie, Blak Social: Meet your Maker) , Janaki Gerard (Back to Bilo) and Morgan Francis (Peter and the Starcatcher).
