Set in a bafflingly backwards yet ultra-advanced near-future, global famine, energy and environmental crises have been solved at the cost of limited freedom and human flesh. An unrealistic but recognisable speculation on the bleak future of humanity on Earth, this drama depicts a place that has both progressed and regressed by way of absurd yet practical logic.

Co-Directed by Lisa O’Neill and Anatoly Frusin, alongside a stellar cast of TAFE Queensland Acting alumni.

Famished Future Feeders is a black comedy set in a dystopian future that deals with themes of social inequality, climate collapse, famine, artificial intelligence and social & family conflict. The work contains fake body parts, stage violence, cannibalism and discussion of suicide.
