Sedated women are everywhere. In fairytales, in art, in bars and nightclubs, in psych wards, in chat rooms, in porn - it seems society loves to see a woman who’s out of it.

Psycho-siren Leah Shelton brings her signature theatricality, dark humour and high-camp performance art to a subject that has been keeping her awake at night (along with the hot sweats). Slicing through the thorny briars of a culture that invades, surveils, and subjugates women in their sleep, Keep Sleeping, Beauty is part hallucinogenic dream-trip and part anthropological shakedown.

Created by Leah Shelton (AU) and directed by Olivier award-winning Ursula Martinez (UK), the killer team behind smash hit BATSHIT returns with another searing political commentary which asks - is there a world in which a woman can sleep easy at night?
