About

This production of The Laramie Project by Moisés Kaufman & Tectonic Theatre Project is proudly presented by the JMC Academy’s 2024 Graduating Acting Company. This showcase performance marks the completion of their acting degree as we welcome them as this new generation of confident, resilient and generous performing artists.

JMC's Bachelor of Creative Arts (Acting) provides an exciting and immersive way of learning, giving our graduates a diverse range of skills and the confidence to launch a sustainable career in Acting. 

The program has been developed by industry-leading experts as an address to an everchanging and constantly diversifying performing arts sector within Australia’s creative landscape, taking a contemporary and career driven approach to higher education in performance. We are committed to nurturing versatility and flexibility for our graduates, enabling them to move with confidence in a vibrant and evolving industry. 

Accessibility Note

Metro Arts' New Benner Theatre is wheelchair accessible. For tickets for patrons in a wheelchair, with accessibility needs and/or Companion Card holders, please call Metro Arts on 07 3002 7100 Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm to enquire or make your booking. Please be aware there are limited number of wheelchair spaces available per show.
